    He's a good bloke.
I like how he stood up for himself when he thought Zoe wasn't really interested in him and had him pegged by where he lived and what he does.
I'd hope my boys would do that and not become a doormat to their partners.

So I'm wondering now, how come we only saw them meet one set of parents?
    Lachlan's, Alex's and James'.
Will they meet the others next week?

And the have time on their side
The two who were the most cray-cray were Claire and Roni.

Claire is bonkers and should probably dry out and find herself before she can expect anyone else to. She seems to have a false sense of self-appreciation, telling Lachlan more than once that he should be counting himself lucky to be in her presence, yet she goes to sh!t because he's not fawning all over her in front of his mother. Maybe stop tasking pats on the back off yourself and your friends, Claire, and do something that gives you real purpose and self-worth and learn to be likeable.
ahh, probably a bit harsh but I can't find one nice thing to say about her, not with the way she's come across in this show anyway.
    I'm sure she has fans.
What does she do for a living btw?

As for Roni, I reckon it probably wasn't the best decision for her to get involved in this show straight after a divorce. Well, two yrs after but that stuff can throw you off for years.
Either that or the experts really stuffed up.

I was appalled at the way James carried on and how rude he was to his Mum when she was trying to be kind. And for him to say that he can only handle his family once every three months was horrid - even if you think that, don't say it to the cameras for goodness sakes, knowing that Mum & Dad will be watching it in the future!
    Exactly!
    True colours coming out there.

So Michelle is definitely gone off with someone else?

    **SPOILER ALERT**

From what I've read on the internet she has now married an old flame - so she must have broken up with James pretty quickly and then decided her old boyfriend was the one!

    Oh.
I wonder was he the young one who walked all over her, as her mam put it.

Maybe her doing the show was a kick up the bum for the ex, showing him what he was missing and all that?

Has anyone else thought that a few of them seem to like a drink too. I noticed Roni wasn't shy of a bottle or two, and Claire and Lachlan seem drunk most of the show???

^ I thought that - I suppose it would've been pretty clear to him that she wants to get married!!

Great relationship taking point. This show is kind of like a visual version of those little cards the psych made Roni and Michael look at to prompt conversation.
All Ep, DF and I were "that behaviour is terrible. I'd feel this way if you did that and I'd respond that way" and a bit of "oh god I don't do that do I?"
