Last night's episode should be repeated tonight, I think it's on at about 10pm on 9/WIN
Zoe and Alex have really grown on me. At first I thougt she was a bit of a snooty city girl but after seeing the way she handled their argument I actually really like her. I thought Alex walking out in a huff was a bit over the top, but I think he's just a bit immature. I hope they stay together.

I've just watched it back on 9jumpin.
If you watch today there's very little ads but I find if you leave it a few days to catch up, the ad breaks are ridiculous.

    You've all got ISSUES!

Jees, Michelle, run away from James. Fast!
Alarm bells went off when his mam broke the news about selling the farm and tried to get a smile out of him but he acted like a sulky child.
Who does he think he is?
I never liked them two together.

    Claire, honestly?
shaking her head not knowing what the problem was?
    YOU are the problem, love.
Have some respect for other people's wishes over your own for once.
Oh you didn't get affection in front of his mother (who's recently lost her husband) - SO WHAT! What a child!!!

    Michael, oh what a catch.
I wonder if they edited him to look like a sad sack or if he really is that boring.
Even on their night out he'd rather talk to anyone else but Roni.
    She deserves better.
I hope she reads what's being said online because I think she's the type to blame herself in some way when she did nothing wrong.

    Now, the young lovebirds.
They're great together but it got me wondering if maybe these arrangements are more successful when the couples are young and don't have so much baggage?

    Default Married at first sight...

That's exactly what DH and I were saying last night @Phony

The other couples (especially Lachy and claire) are having issues because they're struggling to change their individual lives to fit around their partners. Alex and Zoe are like 'ah well if I have to move eventually that's ok!' And they're smart enough to know that it's an experiment and I think their feelings for each other have surprised them. The other couples seem to be putting too much emphasis on the feelings that they 'should' have for each other and not the getting to know you datey side of things. It's like, oh now we're married so we automatically need to be madly in love even though we've just met, and we're not therefore we mustn't be right for each other.

I agree with you both @Phony and @MrsDL

I was appalled at the way James carried on and how rude he was to his Mum when she was trying to be kind. And for him to say that he can only handle his family once every three months was horrid - even if you think that, don't say it to the cameras for goodness sakes, knowing that Mum & Dad will be watching it in the future! No wonder Michelle ran, he is a sulky little brat who probably expected Mum and Dad to give him the farm.

Claire is just a train-wreck - talk about needing some pretty heavy weekly therapy for oh, about ten years... How can anyone with such immature ways of dealing with pretty simple stuff even think about being in a relationship. I don't think Lachie is too bad, he's just trying to navigate his away around a woman who has absolutely no idea about how to communicate.

I feel for Roni - Michael is just a total bore, and agree @MrsDL why did they think they had to immediately fall madly in love for this to work? From the couple of people I know that have had arranged marriages, it started with friendship and a willingness to commit to the relationship, and love grew over a period of years. Expecting instant attraction is unrealistic - you might want that in a one night stand, but this was meant to be different.

I love Zoe, I think she's really funny and honest and I like her and Alex together. I have no idea if they'll make it, but I think they're giving it a good go with honest intentions and that's all they can do.

Why am I invested in this show??? I think I just love relationships and am a big sooky romantic at heart :-)
