I'm totally hooked and invested in this show and so didn't think it would be. I didn't think any of the couples were particularly suited but it will be interesting to see how their relationships develop. I loved the whole shopping in ikea experiment. Brilliant! They do say marriages are made or broken in those aisles, this is exactly why dh never comes to ikea with me

I read spoilers today and they annoyed me.
I want Lachlan to walk out the door. Watching them makes me feel uncomfortable. She is vicious!

I think Lachlan and Claire could work. I think they are just fighting so much because they do like each other and are so desperate for it to work. They both need to calm down.

I get a funny vibe from one couple. Forget their names but she wore the beautiful lace wedding dress. They seemed soooooo into each other at first sight but I think he is too controlling. I don't think she realises she is such a catch and it feels like there is an odd power imbalance.

The dinner next week when the couples meet each other looks interesting.....

For me it was the way he reacted to the building of the bed. I guess I see traits of my ex who was extremely controlling.

His wife said she likes a man to take control, and he did take control on their ikea trip, when they got home you can see she was trying to help and be supportive when he was building the furniture and then he drilled a hole and wrecked the new cupboard or whatever it was, and then threw a tantrum and sulked. He made himself look like an *******.

That was the first time I had ever seen them as missed last weeks episode.

Claire seems to be really selfish. He has given up everything and she can't even get it together to visit the farm much? Pffft. He's much too nice for her.

I don't think any of the couples are suited. At all. I would be really surprised to see any of them last.

I don't think Clare is intentionally selfish.
I think it's more about being a control freak. She has been single a long time, and has her schedule sorted down to a T.
She just needs to relax in this alien situation to be able to get the most out of it.

I think they work, even with the few heated disagreements, they seem to be the only couple with any passion or fire in their bellies.
