Default Tips for putting eye drops into 10 month olds eyes without help

Any tips for putting eye drops into 10 month olds eyes without a second person?

He has conjuctivitis & im struggling with the eye drops. Currently lying him down on the change table, but i cant hold his head still, hold his hands out of the way & hold the bottle at the same time.

Ive given him toys, wipes packets etc & tried a light projector to distract him but none of it is really working

Could you maybe try feeding him and drop it in the corner of his eye then tilt him so it goes into the whole eye??

This method was given to me by a customer in the pharmacy but I've not tried it yet: lay Bub on floor, kneel with bub's head between your knees & use them to immobilise his head, hold his hands away with one hand & drop the eye drops in with the other.
You can drop the eye drops into a closed eye, try to get in the corner near their nose, when Bub blinks it will disperse the drops through the eye.
Good luck! We haven't had conjunctivitis yet but I'm sure our time will come soon.

I swaddled my baby in a blanket so that her arms were pinned down. I tries to make a game of it & sing a silly song, she still cried when i put the drops in. Her arms were out of the way though.. .
