    Default Advice needed.. Bowel Movements

DD is 6 weeks old and has reflux. Up until 2 weeks ago we didnt know why she was so unsettled until our doctor started DD on losec which has helped a lot.
DD is on Nan Comfort formula but is not having regular bowel movements and when she does she is in discomfort, crying and straining and her poo is quiet hard.
I was advised to give DD Coloxyl drops to help with constipation, to help her have regular bowel movements and to soften up her poo. I have been giving her tge Coloxyl drops for over a week and it hasn't helped much.
Could it be the formula? Should I change it?

If you keep changing formulas it will possibly upset her tummy more
Try giving warm baths and massage with baby oil.
Were you told to give the comfort one?
I am not sure if you can give prune juice at this age. Good luck.
But tummy massages are good often in a clock wise motion.

Brown sugar in water is supposed to help. Coloxyl definitely helped my girls. The other things you can do is warm oil massages, baths, bicycling legs and warm heat packs on her tummy.

I found that gently massaging my babies bellies helped. There's a certain way you need to do it though to help get their poop moving.
There might be some videos on YouTube but you could try a baby massage class.
