Default 2 year old suddenly stuttering

My 2 year old speaks really well, in full sentences and quite easy to understand. However in the last couple of weeks she has started kind of stuttering. Like she just said "I am putting blocks on the on the on the on the on the floor". Another one she says frequently is "I want I want I want" and she'll usually repeat it around 10 times. Is this anything to be concerned about?

My friend's daughter did a similar thing when she was 2.5/3 and they had to get her speech therapy.

If it keeps up and you are concerned I would ask for a referral.

This happened to my friend's DD too and she had speech therapy.

The main hint I can tell you off the top of my head is to always let her finish, which minimises anxiety she might be feeling from having to rush herself iykwim?

My 2yo daughter did it for about two weeks. We just acted like she wasn't doing it and waited her out. I had a feeling it was a phase. If it had of kept going I'd prob start with the gp and see what they thought
