    Default 2nd time around

I was induced with my 1st, I went into induction 0cm dilated and gave birth 17 hours later.
I have no idea how my body reacts without chemicals to get it started.
I'm concerned as many of my friends are having their 2nd and it's really quick .

Yep, my second was super quick! 2.5 hours from very first twinge of pain to baby in my arms! First was about 14 hours!

Similar to TreeGirl, my second was in my arms less than four hours after I thought "hmmm... I think that was a contraction".

I was induced with #1 but once everything started I went from 4cm to 10cm in 90 minutes, so I was expecting a quick second labour.

I'm a bit nervous about this time around!

My 1st was 7 hours from 1st "is this it" contraction to holding her in my arms. Was going a hell of a lot faster but epidural slowed it down a lot.

2nd was 2 hours from being told "you are not in labour" to her being born.

3rd was 30 minutes from 1st pain and waters breaking to her being born

    4th was 23 minutes.

My second was recorded as 8 hours I think. I started the day with light very regular 7 minute contraction. This lasted all day until DD1 was in bed, things then started to pick up in intensity at about 8pm, went to the hospital at midnight and DS was born at 3:30am.
My first was a two day plus affair ending with an ARM and drip to finally get me past 2cms

My first was my quickest, but not by that much really.
    #1- 1hr 40mins
    #2- 3 1/4hrs
    #3- 2 3/4hrs

First two were induced. Last one was spontaneous.

First was ten hours from induction with pitocin drip. High intervention, epidural. Hard going but slow progress.

Second bub went into labour naturally at home after 5 hours went to hospital and baby was born two hours later. So 7 hours all up.

Hoping third baby is more like my second
