    Hmm.

    We have been quoted on a large system ... I'm not sure if I can look at it as "prepaying" our electricity in advance or if that's a really stupid way of looking at it..

    I'm also interested in how it's billed... I know I should ring my provider to check but is it generally a case of "you've generated say 10kw a day, used 5kw so power company pays you the remaining 5kw & vice versa"?

    It's only worthwhile if you have a large north facing roof with the right pitch and zero shade on it.
