Gemima there is a pharmacist in Brisbane that stocks it but other than that I am only aware of it online.
It doesn't require a prescription as it is more of a 'supplement' than medication.
I have purchased it both ways and had no problems.
While I have not been Dx with PCOS (I have stage 3 endo and other immune issues)
he did recommend it for me as he felt I might have a similar/borderline issues. I used it for the first time with this cycle and it worked (7 previous cycles didn't )

Also have you stayed taking it while pregnant?

Thanks so much GPD for going to the trouble however I can't see the photo...lol - I am on my phone so will jump on my laptop tomorrow and see if it comes up for me. Either way I really do appreciate it...
Meld - he didn't mention if it could be taken with Vitex but I can't imagine it would be an issue as it is more of a supplement rather than hormone medication. I was taking it while on a full immune protocol IVF with all its usual hormones and was fine.
I kept taking it up until 8 weeks after BFP and then stopped.
I have a spare box so am considering taking it in the lead up to my Gestational Diabetes test as a precaution but will talk to my OB before I do.

Thank you do much for the advice B76... This sounds great. Vitex helps stabilise your hormones so I don't imagine they will counteract each other... Hey I think I will have to get them online as my local pharmacy has nothing... What website did you use eh. You ordered them online?

    I used brandmedicines.com

Otherwise if you want something local 'The Mill Pharmacy' in Spring Hill, Brisbane sells it. Maybe they will sell it and post to you?

    Default Insulin Resistance Advice please

Thanks so much GPD and Blinky :-) will give it a go!!! Hey does anyone know anything about blood glucose results? Doctor has asked me to come in and go over the results but I'm confused.... My results were

    Fasting - 4.6

    1 hour after drink - 6.0

    2 hours after drink - 3.6

I have had a quick look online and these results seem normal however dr must not think so as he only asks you if there is further treatment required....

@Meld85 don't know too much about it. Maybe it's the high side of normal? Or low? Or maybe he just wants a general discussion because it didn't answer his problem. Let us know how you go xx

Hey so sorry for the delay!!! Turns out I am quite severely insulin resistant.

I was googling my diabetes results which were fine thank goodness!!!

I think while fasting I was meant to be less than 60 mom and I was 290 mom.... Yikes

Doctor has put me on metamorfin and will up the dose in 3 months... Said I will be on it for the rest of my life but good news is I can be on it while pregnant so doesn't effect us trying again!!! Will get into a dietetician and get a diet sorted out!!!

Thanks for your support both of you xo

@Meld85 sounds like you're in the same boat as me! Metformin sucks. Took me a long time to get used to. The dietician really helped me to manage it. I feel much better now and it's been nearly 4 months. I wasn't able to up my dosage though, it made me too sick. I hope you have better luck.
