How do you cook your edamame? I've got a packet of frozen edamame in the freezer but not really sure what to do with it.

because I'm lazy and generally have zero motivation to cook anything anymore, tonight will be a variety of fridge contents slash leftovers. dh will have gumbo and I'll have a toasted ham and cheese sambo and grilled tomatoes.

I actually just throw them in with my broccoli that was steaming because I like them hot. Then you have to add more salt on top if you like them salty. My frozen packet is pre-salted and just says to leave them out for an hour to defrost. My girls love them so I do them a lot.

    Default Tonight we're smashing into...#3

I meant to prepare chicken kievs on the weekend for tonight but forgot, so instead did pan fried chicken strips with a creamy white wine sauce that I made up. It had garlic, white wine, basil, oregano and cream and it was so yum. Served with mashed potato and steamed veggies.

ETA and I sautéed some mushrooms in butter in a separate pan for my daughter and I to have on our chicken as well, hubby doesn't like them.
