Default anyone experience Chronic / recurrent UTIs?

    So quick baxk story:
I have had 2 kidney infection an I have lost count of the amount on UTIs I have had (dozens) in the past year and a half I was on a low dose antibiotics for 4 months it just keeps coming back.I do EVERYTHING I have been told to do eg wipe font to back, wee after sex, cranberry juice . . . I just finished 10days of antibiotics 2 days off and symptoms are back.
I dont get the burning or stinging at all my only main symptom is the urge to wee even if I have just gone and the frequency of weeing.
I am after advice of what to do.
If anyone has been down this path what tests/results have you had.
it is really getting me scared

We are currently getting testing done for my baby for this. She's getting a dye kidney scan next week.

Yes I have been through this too. 2 x kidney infections resulting in hospital stays and too many UTIs to count. I had ultrasounds of my kidneys and urethra, MRI scan and a test where I drank a lot of water then peed so they could check my bladder was emptying properly. In the end nothing came up as abnormal.
I did finally get rid of it all with low dose antibiotics for an extended time then Hiprex tablets daily for probably 6 months to a year.
This was a few years ago and I've only had a few since which have been treated with normal antibiotics, gone away and stayed away!
I re commend you do ask your doctor for a specialist referral to help you manage it as it is a really big problem and makes you so ill.
Good luck, hope you find something that works for you soon.

As other PP suggested, I would get a referral to see a specialist and also ask for a scan to check on your kidney's/bladder. When I was in my early teens I couldn't clear UTI's, ended up spending 5 days in hospital on a antibiotic drip, infection didn't come back after that. My mum was similar but had to be on a stronger Gov approved antibiotic.
Also I was always told never to wash your genital area with soap. Haven't since my hospital stay which may have also helped.
