    Default Hair dye?

Just wondering what the rule of thumb is for hair dye? I've googled a few times and get many different answers. GP advised to go foils only if possible to limit contact with the dye. Problem is I usually get overall colour just on the roots. What are everyone's thoughts?

My OB said it was safe & to go for it if it made me feel better. The first OB I had said she had died her hair in all 4 pregnancies & had healthy children. We had to get a new OB due to moving towns & he agrees it is fine. I got an all over colour I think around 10 weeks but I've been really slack & haven't been back since. I'm hoping to get another colour done in the near future before our little one makes an appearance My friend had twins & regularly got all over hair colours.

I think do what you're comfortable with. Congrats by the way

I had my hair done as told I was safe by my gp my on and hairdresser. I had no issues except had to go sit outside a few times due to ventilation issues and not being able to breathe as easy as non pregnant.

It's safe. I dyed my hair through all 3 pgs. The only issue is what wobblermummy said - fumes from the bleach.
