I still have ~3.5 months to go. I see that safe n sound crown and balance are on sale at target so am thinking to get it. The pram that I am thinking of buying was on sale last month and thought I still have time. Now, it isn't on sale and i don't know if it ever will come back on sale again. So lesson learned. buy it when it is on sale.

We started to think that our lifestyle won't be using the capsule much at all. That's the reason to go straight car seat. We r leaving the option open, though.

If you are planning on a second I would buy it.

    Default Car seat what option

Not sure we would. This is IVF Bub. Focus on one first. One step at a time....
Thanks ladies. A lot of choices!

Sorry not trying to get ahead of you! I just didn't buy it for first but did for second and I wish had just bought it so I could have gotten maximum use out of it. Though a friend borrowed it right after my DD2 was out of it, and another friend will borrow it after that!

No worries. It looks like the neon is back on sale but $150 this time. Hmmm...can someone have a look at this? http://www.bigw.com.au/bigw-catalogu...Id=9007&page=5
I'm not sure if it is the same neon because toyrus seems to have all nice padded even the seat belt/harness.

It used to come with padding but I think they sell it separately now. You get it for free in this deal though. Much better choice of colours than the one that used to come standard, but I only ever used it for a couple of months anyway.

was it on sale in Feb?

The store lady recommended safe n sound meridian. Does it have a tall RF marker like neon? Is kompress caprice an upscale (better padding) of neon?

I had an old meridian that kept collapsing, so I took it back and they replaced it with a new one at the same time I bought a neon. The height markers were the same (older meridian was shorter).

To be honest I have both and prefer the neon. The meridian is 3 times the price and not worth the money. It's only good if you're not able to install car seats. But I think every mum needs to become good at putting in and taking out car seats, you never know when you will have to. I was lost the first few times but now I can do it with my eyes closed!
