Sorry for your loss. I hope you and your partner can find the support you need to be able to find your way forward. Losing a much wanted baby is such a terrible and unfair thing to have to go through.

I'm so sorry to hear you have lost Gabriel. I lost my first son in 2007. I still cry just writing this message and although I have gone on to have two more children (I worried for so long that I would never be mum to a living baby) there is still always someone missing from our family, and our children never replaced Jaxson. Made life easier to deal with without Jaxson, but never replaced him.

My advice is to join up with as many support groups as you can (so many on fb) it was a huge thing for me to know I wasn't alone & to be able to talk about my baby. Sands in Brisbane are great also.

Also order takeaway or get your friends to deliver it. You need to eat but for me cooking was the last thing on my list and I just CBF doing it. My baby died, why would I be worried about something so stupid like cooking/eating lunch and dinner? Luckily we had a few friends bring food in the first couple of weeks.

    Good luck. Thinking of you.

    Xx

So sorry for your loss. No mother and father should every have to feel like this. My bub was born still on the 10th of May 2013 and it still hurts.

My advice would be to be kind to yourself, don't answer your phone if you don't want to, return to work when you are ready, take any help from well meaning family and friends eg cooking, cleaning, someone to sit with you out in the sunshine. Some people will never understand what you have or are going through, I lost a few friends during this time.

It does get easier but you still remember. You are stronger than you will ever be. I look at my sons ashes everyday as he is in my bedroom- he is the first thing I see in the morning and the last thing before I go to sleep. If you want someone to talk to, PM me, I am here for you. Sending you much love, hugs and blessings.
