I think a lot of women voted to get the extra $$ Abbott promised in PPL. I knew that he would never really do it and it was just a ploy. It seems many here will vote differently next election.

I can honestly say I didn't. I thought at the time he was just trying to say the right things to receive votes. It seemed so inconceivable without somewhere else taking a massive hit or our taxes being increased. Surely I'm not the only one who thought this?

I was willing to risk it, because I was fed up with the Labour Party and them constantly wanting to change leaders. They proved they were liars so I thought I'd give the other guy a try

I would never vote for the Libs based on my own personal philosophies, but I honestly cant believe people honestly thought that policy was anything other than an obvious attempt to score votes.

It's good to see people realising what a pathetic joke this government is. The opposition is far from perfect, but the Libs are freaking deluded.

Quite a few of us said that it was just vote grabbing and it was too expensive for the Libs to run so you def weren't the only one.
