All the things DS has made me are in storage still. My very first mother's day was the best though. I got to take him home from the hospital

These are so cute! I don't have pictures from last year but have loved how excited DS1 is this year. He has asked me every day all week how long until Sunday so he can give me his present. I also know that he made me a picture at school but I am pretending I don't know what it is.

Last year he made a card at preschool with his handprints on and a ribbon attaching the 2 hands together which said "I love you this much". It is still hanging up in my room

Also this year he has told DF that they have to make sure there is enough milk and it isn't off to make me a hot chocolate. <3

My daughter (2.5) is adament that she made me a flower at childcare, but the carers couldn't find one with her name on it. On Wednesday I picked her up and she said "oops, I forgot to make a flower for my mummy. I really awnt to make one for you!". So I explained how she'd be back on Friday, and maybe she could make one then. Picked her up yesterday and she was sure that she made one...we spent 15 minutes looking for it because she didn't want to leave it behind, but not a trace :P

Subbing. Those crafts are too cute. I'll have to wait until next year for dd to make me something at childcare. 😊

Subbing - DS made me something at pre school and was adamant I had to wait until tomorrow so he's hidden it under his bed!

I've just realised I'm absolutely heartless - I've thrown away all the mothers day things DS1 has made for me 🙈

My mother's day gift from the school stall. First year I didn't have to buy my own gift! The life of a single mum.
