Default Am I the last person to discover coconut oil???

As the title says, I've just discovered coconut oil for my hair. I've cooked with it for ages, but tried it to see if it would help with my frizzy hair.

My hair feels amazing! Not frizzy and so soft - and only in a couple of days. I feel like I'm really late to figure this out.

I use it on DS quite a bit as he gets dry skin patches, also on grazes, as a hand moisturizer and lip balm, as a substitute for butter or oil in cooking.

I hadn't tried it on my hair yet, how do you apply it?

I'm going to have to google this a bit more.

I've been warming a tiny bit (not even a quarter of a teaspoon) between my hands then working it through the ends of my hair really well.

Hahahaha!!! That video is great! I use it on DD's butt. We use cloth nappies and it's "mcn safe". The only problem is that after I put it on she smells like a bounty bar and then I want to eat a bounty bar.....

I'm yet to use it on my hair, but I've been thinking about giving it a go.

I guess my concern is that it'll make my hair too greasy. Only one way to find out!

Health food stores or supermarkets (I've found it in the health food aisle of Coles/Woolies).
