MPW sexy? Really?!! Is it the arrogance that excites?

Someone posted a very hot photo of MPW in his younger years early on in the thread and he was quite nice on the eye.
Luckily he appeared earlier in the season as a 'mentor' all kind and helpful before he does the Jekyll and Hyde transformation into nasty boot camp trainer. This way he doesn't get hated by all. That and the bloody delicious mac and cheese that I'm making myself fat on.
I've not made that yet!! must try!!
I hate how he repeats himself when he's yelling but I guess that's just his thing
I don't go for that type in real life.
When DH & I were dating and we'd go out to dinner, I used to tell him what I wanted off the menu but I'd insist he be a bit of a tool and order for me.
So, waiter comes over, take DH's order, and then turns to ask me.
Just as I start to respond DH has to cut me off and order for me "Oh she will have such and such..." like a total w@nker! HAHAHAHA
God I'd get such a giggle out of it. Such a child.
I think it was all the more funny because DH was really nervous about doing it and would protest and say no bl00dy way he was doing it, then just as I thought 'ah I give up' he'd do it. I'd be dying laughing inside. HAHAHAHA
Thinking back now the waiter probably got the chef to spit in his food for being a d!ck
Eh, not sure how I ended up going there. Must have been the mention of arrogance
I've had this discussion with the ILs about MPW. They don't like his arrogance, and the way he repeats himself over and over.
While the arrogance is definitely a bit off putting & I think he could be more humble, his achievements warrant his reputation. And the way he is with service is just the way chefs work. A head chef will ask his staff over & over for something until it's on the pass. And it's usually because whoever is running the pass is asking him over & over 'Chef where's my dish, Chef, where's the dish' because plates are supposed to all be run at the same time, especially in fine dining or hatted restaurants. Working in a kitchen in reality is much more like Marco than Gary & George. Those guys are more mentors - I've never come across a chef as nice as those two are during service.
