One thing I'm sick of is those raw onion rings, burnt on the ends, that every second person seems to be garnishing their plates with. Can't imagine they taste any good.
Yeah one of the guest chefs did that last season...seems they have all been practising

Ha ha!...Agree about the quails! There must be a population explosion of the bloody stupid tiny birds at the Melbourne Showgrounds!!

I don't think Rose is even any good at her Lebanese food...didn't she bugger up her fried things (too oily) in the auditions, then stuff up that yoghurt soup?

What's her sad back-story? Does she have one?

Yes Rose had a tear jerker story during auditions. She grew up in a family business, a deli or small store and her brother died (I think) and there were tears all around. Plus I think they like to have people on the show who can cook middle eastern/Asian /other cuisine rather than the standard 'modern Australian'. And yes I seem to remember her oily fried goods and bad yoghurt soup. It's a shame because Lebanese food can be awesome!
