I'm glad Billie is in - I may not have bothered watching the finale if she'd been eliminated tonight. Even though the hissing/whistling sound she makes when she pronounces an 's' sound, she's the only one of the three competent enough to deserve to win.

I can't believe how many "best ever" dishes we've had this season. Every night it seems the judges have tasted "the best dish in Masterchef ever". Can't they think of something different to say?

Can't remember if I've said this before... but a few weeks ago my DS made me buy a quince at the shops. So I was googling how to cook them, and came across an article by Matt Preston. He said not to try them raw, as they were so tart that "they could soak up all the tears in Masterchef". I immediately thought of Georgia! Gah what a blubbering mess she was last night!

LOL! I call this the "snake" S -- drives me nuts!! I took a dislike to her early on because of it, but now I love how cool, calm and competent she is and so I try to ignore it.

Why are we so hard on Georgia? You know what, she is a good cook. OK, she can dither about but last night I think she realised that she was really lucky to get through to the final. There's $250,000 + extra goodies at stake that she's competing for. I'd be an emotional mess too!

Did anyone else notice how Jessica's plating last night was 1,000 times better than normal, i.e. didn't look like her usual mess on the plate?

I haven't said anything bad about Georgia.
She reminds me of Julie Goodwin a bit, nothing against Julie Goodwin, she's great but I'm just backing something different.

I like Georgia. I love how kind, positive and supportive most are on Masterchef. It's like the tennis of reality tv.

@Phony, she reminds me of Julie Goodwin too. Not only did SHE cry all the time but she constantly sweated into the food .

It was more of a general rhetorical question, not directed at anyone in particular. I just think it's an interesting comparison. Billie is so cool, calm and collected so we prefer her; whereas Georgia comes across as disorganised and a mess of tears and we shy away from that.

It would be so much better if we could all handle stress like Billie but I know I definitely don't and it's good showing lots of emotion - releasing that pressure valve. Wouldn't it be boring viewing if they all just got in and did it, without the drama and upheaval!!!

Ah I know your question wasn't directed at anyone on particular, I just thought I'd throw in my opinion of her

I haven't been watching religiously (because I pass out every night come 8pm) but is Georgia always that messy in the kitchen?
Her mixer looked like something exploded all over it last night.
