Georgia is a dumb blonde. I don't like Reynold because his hair is spiked on the diagonal. Jessica has a black "hair helmet", and uses Revlon lipstick colour #ugly. And Billie...well Billie certainly has underworld connections.

It's what makes this show fantastic.

The term dumb blonde is extremely offensive.
I know Georgia and she isn't "dumb". Just because something is lighthearted doesn't mean it's ok.

The way she has come across on the tv has certainly been "dumb blonde" though (seriously, her maths sucks and making the same mistake twice in a row??), and you cannot fault people for having an opinion. Most of the things posted in here could be deemed offensive by someone.... for example cheering when someone is eliminated. Probability is someone on here knows other contestants too. If we only said nice things all the time for fear of upsetting someone most of these threads wouldn't exist. Almost everything is upsetting to someone.

How can anyone have an opinion on someone's intelligence? That doesn't make sense!!
I don't mind a bit if back and forth banter about people getting eliminated because, as you say, that's what these shows are about. I think it's a whole different issue when you insult someone's intelligence.
My problem is using sexist stereotypes against women including terms like "stupidest", I think it's pretty low.
I don't want to derail the thread. I just don't think it's fair to use derogatory words against anyone.
I'm not the fun police at all, I just think we need to change our attitudes about women on TV.
    That's all!

This is a fluff thread. If it offends you, don't read it. It is all a bit of silly fun. Personally, I am enjoying it. Certainly no need to be politically-correct. There is enough of that in real life.

    Now, back to MasterChef...
I should be able to watch it tonight, so girls...please have your texting fingers (or styluses, in my case) at the ready!

I was hoping Jessica would go next but at least she is less predictable than Reynold. Who wants to make a bet he will cook a desert tonight?

I actually don't think I'll be watching tonight. My DD's birthday. So I will need some recounts for later please!

I was just glad it wasn't Reynold, not sure why but I have a soft spot for him. Hope Billie wins though.
