Her daughter looks gorgeous. Not even the slightest hint of mushed-up-ness from being pushed out of a narrow cavity.
I had an important meeting to go to when I left hospital once - hardest part was getting my shoes on as my feet were doing the whole pp swell thing!
They get royal mums home quickly so other patients and visitors to hospital are not inconvienced by the crowds and press. She will be recuperating at home.
DD was two weeks early and caught me completely unaware, no time for a shower or hair wash, by the time I realised I was in labour we offloaded DS and bolted to the hospital for an emergency c-section. As soon as I was free of catheter I was down at the hospital hairdresser for a wash and dry.
She looks stunning as always and bub looks very cute too, can definitely see the resemblance between her and George.
I couldn't imagine walking out of the hospital looking so fresh and glamorous after labour and birth! I would be a mess! In tears, in pain and just feeling like I wanted to sleep.
To clarify- I said I was jealous and I am. I wasn't knocking her- I'm in awe.
I was bedridden for 24 hours after the birth of my boys (c/s) and then for a whole week after dd (vbac).
I think she is awesome.
@Mod-Nomsie, I personally got you meant, I didn't see it as you knocking her in the slightest, quite the opposite, that you were in awe of her looking so amazing!
I think (given the enormous worldwide attention she gets and none of us mere mortals do) that she does a great job fronting the worldwide media and presenting her newborns etc. I have no doubt she will go home now and do what she needs to do, rest and recover.
