I agree. Look what happened to Diana!!

Hopefully she only wants 2 children. It's also quite possible she was happy to go home so soon, it is quite common. But again hopefully it was the right thing for her.

I just can't wait to hear what the princesses name is. Surely Diana would be in there somewhere but apparently the queen has to approve of the chosen name.

Well she can eff off if she puts a stop to it if that's what Kate and William want. I hope it doesnt come down to that though. If it does it will only solidify my views that I think Australia should be a republic!

Unfortunately we will never know either way. I really hope there is something in there for Diana, she was the most devoted mum to those boys and the royal family were horrific in the way they treated her.

She has to approve their official name, yes. Which, technically means first name. In case they become King/Queen.

Not sure why people are commenting about leaving the hospital 12 hours after birth?

    What's wrong with that?

When I had Ds1 my midwife told me that if all was well with mum and bub, I would have to leave 4 hours after birth!! Lucky (or unlucky??) for me, I had issues with breastfeeding, so I stayed in 3 days.

2nd time around, I stayed in no more than 24 hours, but again, I was told 4 hrs, the only reason I stayed was because bub has a horse shoe kidney, so the paed had to make sure he had done a poo and wee etc before we left.

Yeah, I left about 4 hours after DD was born, but even here some people think that's really strange. I guess it's a combination of culture and crappy journalism given that it was Vox Pop from a Russian newspaper.
