They scratch your lining with some small plastic tubing or similar, which prompts a response from the lining. Depending what you read, it can mean transfer is up to 70% more successful.
My clinic does it at Day 21 in the cycle before the transfer.

My fertility doc has just been at a conference in Europe - he said it is very common practice there, so happy for him to have a try... even more exvited- he is going to come to my local hospital and do it there!

Good luck for the scan tomorrow @A&S! Keeping fingers crossed for a HB.
@Doughy building whilst TTC sounds like it would be stressful but at least both generally have something great out the other side.

@Kazzy that's great that he'll come locally for that. Good luck! Hopefully it means better chances and a BFP in the future.

Oh thanks for the explanation guys 😊 I still feel so behind with this stuff!
@Chekry we just signed the contracts today so it's yet to start but if the process of choosing a design is anything to go by, it's going to be full on and fun. At least I get to fantasise about a nursery from complete scratch!

We just saw the tiniest of heartbeat flickers. We were definitely too early to see it properly but could see the pulsing and little bug is in the right spot
FS wants to see us once more at about 10 weeks then transfer over to hospital care

@A&S that's so good to hear! I hope you have a lovely trip away.
@Doughy planning a nursery would be very exciting! I'm such an indecisive person I think I'd suck at making decision for building.

Congrats @A&S, and enjoy your holiday. Hope you're heading somewhere warm!

Hopefully the months break for us all brings on an avalanche of BFPs!
