    It did for us too, the ones that were the most closely matched physically had some serious health problems. Take your time and go with your instincts.

    We had a donor on our list that on paper was literally half me and half DP. And his photo (aged about 10) looks like a mixture of both our brothers. It was so weirdly perfect! And as we both want to conceive, it was good that he wasn't more like 1 of us than the other.

    When we did donor selection - we considered physical characteristics, health history, & then reason for donation. We were able to read a letter from the donor to potential children, & crossed off anyone who was "spreading their genes"

    All good here... heading to Adelaide to see FS tomorrow and do a training course to get a new job... going to be a bit more assertive this time about doing a colorado protocol because of my autoimmune issues

    Im sitting this cycle out, @Kazzy36, so all very quiet! I am still stalking the boards however wishing we had gone straight on!
    What does the Colorado Protocol involve? We may find ourselves having immunology testing if we don't have any success with next FET

    I have +ANA ; positive for lupus. It doesn't seem to do much to me other than give me frosty cold fingers and feet all of the time, & leaves me feeling pretty wiped out if i get stressed out.

    The colorado protocol involves use of aspirin, clexane injections, antibiotics, and steroids. It is particularly useful for implantation issues - which is exactly what i have. The aspirin increases blood flow to the uterus, clexane prevents clots in the developing placenta, antibiotics dull down the inmune response, & steroids... well i don't really know what part they do in it all lol... maybe give you enough strength to keep going 😆
