Yes I wasn't expecting it because when we did the cycles I was still socially infertile. I don't know how it works but it's an extra $800 so I'm not complaining

I think it is the Medicare safety net rather then medicare rebate (if that makes sense). How it works becomes a little clearer after doing IVF (where you see both the Safety Net and Medicare rebates applied).

I don't think so in my case because I haven't reached the safety net yet. For IVF we will definitely reach the safety net.

I had my CD7 scan today and I'm a bit disappointed. Only 9 follicles at the moment 8-10mm. FS has upped my dose of gonal-f and I'm going back on Monday for another scan.

For some reason I thought you were doing another iui. Your last post makes sense now.
Hopefully the higher dose of meds helps a few more eggs mature but even 10 is a good number.
    Good luck

We didn't want to waste any more time so we jumped straight to IVF. It's all happened so quickly. AF arrived and confirmed BFN then 3 days later I was starting injections.
Im hoping there are some hidden follicles somewhere but I would still be happy with 9 if I got a decent number of healthy eggs.

    Grow little follicles!

What cycle day do they aim to collect the eggs?

Great news that Medicare came to the party
