@A&S. No it's just a booster to help her eggs grow to better maturity and create a thicker lining. They wait for her to naturally O then she does the booster to coincide with it to boost O. Then progesterone pessaries after O to help implantation.

DP went to the clinic this morning to sign consents for next cycle in 2 weeks and the nurse casually told her that her rubella levels were low (should be at least 40, hers are 17) so she needs another mmr and probably needs to skip next cycle. She broke down then came home. she only had her mmr vax last August but her body just mustn't hold the immunisation....
Queried it and got a call back half an hour ago saying. Thy can do the shot tomorrow but she has to skip next cycle.
...If the dr told her last week at her appointment when he signed off on next cycle then she could have had the shot that day and been fine but as she was only told today, it's too late so we are skipping next cycle.
To say I am angry, sad and disappointed is an understatement!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to change clinics for next baby.

    😭😭😭😡😡😡😡😭😭😭😭😂

I kinda want to go ahead without having the shot. (Rubella is pretty uncommon these days... Obviously due to vax) and sooooo many people fall pregnant with low to no immunity and only find out whilst pregnant and still have a healthy baby....
But DP wants to do everything by the book, saying 'it will happen when the time is right'. She is disappointed aswell but would rather have a pregnancy not worrying about getting sick...

I did my cards the other day (like tarot) and it wasn't positive on having a baby anytime soon so I kinda expected something would happen. But I. Am. So. Furious. With the clinic!

    Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhh 😡😭

Oh @almai I totally feel for you! I also don't hold immunity for rubella and had the same think happen before I started all my cycles! It is so frustrating constantly having them delayed, and being unhappy with your clinic is the worst - that's why we switched straight back to ours after the Canberra debacle.

It's so hard, and "it will happen when it's meant to" can be equal parts comforting and infuriating depending on your mood.

I want to call around and see if we can get into another clinic... But we are so far in with this clinic, I worry we will waste more time changing.

@almai that is so incredibly disappointing. I can't imagine how you both must be feeling. I would definitely go ahead with the cycle though. Has DP already started injections did you say?
The clinic sound like they're not very organised at all. I hope you guys get to go ahead. Fingers crossed
