Great to hear your NT scan was good @klm... It certainly is an amazing experience for us first timers ☺️

We were told not to worry about the harmony test either. So we chose not to bother with the added expense.

What great news for your nuchal. Great to see isn't it?

I didn't do Harmony test. I've only done the nuchal with similar results. Nothing can ever be 100% but it's reassuring having those early results.

Now just the anomaly scan to look forward to!

KLM, great news on your nuchal results. I only had the harmony done because my nuchal results weren't that good, otherwise I wouldn't have paid for it.
The only reason you would do it is to find out the sex if you can't wair 8wks. They can't even tell you the sex if you're having twins.

With the placenta, I have one anterior (like you) and one posterior, so I'm hoping this will help with room in my tummy that ones at the front and the other in the back. At least I'll ve able to feel one if them.

    KLM - great results, congratulations!
My results were 1:20000 and we were told not to bother with the Harmony test too.
My placenta is also at the front. I had no trouble feeling bubs, and did so from 17 weeks, but my hubby can't feel him/her yet from the outside. My dr said it might be until 30ish weeks for him, but I'm sure I felt bubs kick the other night when lying on my side. I'm just glad it didn't seem to stop me feeling bubs kicking.

After submitting an application for a birth certificate some 10 weeks ago I have just had a letter from the registry asking the clinic/doctor who provided the treatment to confirm various details.

I'm so annoyed! 10 weeks I've been waiting for this to be processed. Surely they could have asked for this earlier.

Anyway, just wondered if everyone was asked for this?

I ticked that she was a donor conception and provided the clinic name and address on my application. Did you do this?

That's weird - surely if you provided the details they could just contact them?

Default Egg Donation in South Africa #9

    Mrserinr/Emski
Do you have to say that on a birth certificate .... Didn't realise what are the implications eg nationality etc?

In UK do and get birth cert straight away and in person at registry office - sounds a little different here ....

I'm really annoyed. Especially if they obviously don't request this of everybody. Firstly, because it's taken them 10 weeks to get to this point and secondly because they say they will not register DD's birth if they don't get this within 28 days!

I will arrange it obviously but I'm a bit flabbergasted that they could refuse to register her birth!? What would happen if I couldn't get the letter?
