That's good news Emski that you will be going earlier now, it will be here before you know it.

Yeah it will be a mad panic once I have my plan. How are you going Lisa? When is your scan?

My scan is on Tuesday I'm really nervous. Had a slight spotting for two days which has stopped but not really feeling anything yet except slightly sore breasts.

I know it's hard not to worry with spotting but it is very common especially with ivf and DE pregnancies. I had it a lot myself..willing Tues to get here quicker!!!

Default Egg Donation in South Africa #9

It's given me so much to think about, & it really feels like a feasible option for us if our OE/OS IVF doesn't work.. And although not a magic bullet as a couple of you have mentioned, it's certainly a little extra light at the end of the tunnel. It means if we fail it's not just a dead end for us...

I'm guessing since there seem to be so many very exciting twin pregnancies announced in here that in SA they don't have issues with 2 embryos being transferred? (Which seems to be an issue in Aust)...
Yes I had to fight tooth and nail to get the (Aust) clinic to agree to a double embie transfer from my donor after the first few failed. Still got a bfn though and still really peeved and bummed about that BUT OFF TO CAPETOWN TOMORROW WOOT WOOT ! Turned 43 yesterday and the birthday festival continues...

Leyshoya, did you mean you had to fight CFC to get two transferred?
