We just got confirmation she is...now have to work out how to pay by credit card...
Emski how to pay agency? They prob have an authority you need to fill in to pay. Just watch your bank doesn't stop your card. Would be great if they had secure online payments, espec CFC.
Had my repeat blood test today, Friday was 203 and today was 760. I think I'll do blood tests every four days also up until scan as I'll be worrying too much.
Great numbers Lisa!
It's out of our control. Trust nature.
Getting pregnant is nerve wracking after what some of us have been through. I think do what you need to to feel reassured. If all it took was relaxing we all would have been up the duff years ago as per helpful friends and family advice. Whatever gets you through I say.
Relaxing at this stage is all we can do. Adding stress worrying about test results etc at every stage is more stress (it would be for me as I would have no way of getting that many blood tests due to lab timings). It was hard enough to get an appointment for a glucose tolerance test here because they do so few each day and take 2.5 hours. Stress is very harmful- finding time to relax and enjoy the process is imperative.
There also needs to be a medical reason for that many tests as Medicare is not really free for what we want. Over-servicing is a very real issue with Medicare and auditing is done regularly.
Personally my experiences with IVF increased positively and exponentially when I stopped caring and relaxed. There is not much we can control but stress is one of them.
I suppose I sound blase but at the end of the day what will be will be. Regardless of how well everything goes we have no control over the outcome or possible medical problems our child coud have.

You must be so relieved Lisa - awesome news!
The blood tests are quite common with the clinics here, but are always optional. For me it works well as pathology is a 2 min walk from work and my FS believes she has been able to "save" some pregnancies by monitoring prog levels which is why she hates using crinone as it can't be measured. For me it's piece of mind. I had the WORST experience in Sydney doing my PGD. They couldn't care less, didn't care that my body isn't good at creating my own progesterone, said it was their 'protocol' to just to a pregnancy test and let the body do its own thing from there and I miscarried as my prog level went down to nothing.
My FS specialist was so cranky that things weren't monitored more closely. It may have happened regardless but hey a few extra blood tests can't hurt'. The medical issue is infertility so tests are all legally covered - God knows we pay enough in taxes and private health....lol
