    Hi Sunny!
we went to Inverdoon on our trip and absolutely loved it. We only did the one day safari which we booked upon arrival in SA as we had our 3 year old with us.
We did the trip the day after our initial appt as we didn't want to risk getting caught out of town if the EPU was brought forward or delayed. As quite a few ladies will agree I'm sure, I wouldn't book the trip for after transfer as the drive around the safari park is very bumpy and you don't want to spend the whole trip worrying about how your embryo is sticking.
Id still recommend going, but definitely before transfer!

Hi Sunny - I'm still in Cape Town. We also did the day trip to Inverdoon. I agree the day trip is all you need and definitely not after transfer as yes it's a bumpy ride....lol
as it's off season we only called the day before and booked (once we knew exactly when our transfer day was). Actually we booked most tours the day before and had no probs!
We really loved it but dress warmly as the 4x4 drive is cold!

Hi Sunny, we did the overnight trip and I just booked after our first appointment when we found out the definite date of our egg pick up. It is really difficult to book before you know definite dates because they can change quite a lot from the original plan. Our egg pick up ended up three days later than the original plan. August is still off season, so you shouldn't have a problem booking while over there.

Quick question for those who have had failed cycles, I don't need to wean off estrogen right? Just stop? Ill wean off my steroids but not 100℅ on what happens with estrogen.

@emski72 I know you're storming ahead like a trouper into your next trip to CT but do you get the result of your official BT today? If you do, I'm really really hoping for a last minute miracle for you. Big hugs.

I normally just stop, no weaning. Bummed that your FRER is still a bfn

Oh cr*ppy cr*p cr*p @emski72. I was holding out hope for your BT. I'm so sorry. Has there been any word from your original donor as to whether she's able to cycle again for you yet?
