About a week for mine.. My donor was sick the first time and had to cancel, but once she was assessed it was about a week.

Hi Emski, I meant to ask you, how did you go getting around Cape town? Did you end up using Uber or did you get normal cabs?
Did you do much sight seeing on your own?

Hi KLM... I lay very low. Uber banned me ( before I ever even used it mind you!) My phone wouldn't work there due to CDMA networks or something so I had to buy a super base level phone so I'd at least be able to call a cab. The Vineyard has a shuttle service to the V&A with a private driver and back for $90R each way so I used that a couple of times, it was very handy, they also offered a private driver for free for clinic appointments which was great. And as it was only 5 mins walk to Cavendish Sq I just walked up there and made sure I was home before dark. I indulged in a lot if cinema movies, sleep ins, shopping at a leisurely pace, massages and eating out! I didn't do much else but that was like heaven for me.

I am just back at the hotel relaxing after transfer. The eggs with my donor only one from 3 was any good today and will be frozen.

The second donor we had 6 fertilise from the 8 eggs and today we had 6 expanding blasts which was a fantastic result and we transferred 2.

Praying this works as I don't think I have the strength of you ladies that have done this more than once.

Lisa you'll have to give your doctor a big hug. I wonder how they can have spare eggs or whether they split a donation.

Do you know what your new donor is like? Did you get the profile or just had to run with fate?

What an outstanding result either way. All that time and effort choosing a donor and look what pans out.

Relax and enjoy your day. I'd have a glass of wine to doubly make sure. What a fabulous turn of events.
