Pupo girls, I found the SA 2ww great as its only 9 days!

KMP, I'm 19wks on Monday and haven't felt anything either. Glad to know it should be in a couple of weeks. I've been trying a doppler since 12wks with great frustration as I haven't been able to hear anything until last night... I think I may have heard heart beats but not really sure si will try again tonight to see.

Miss Sagi don't be in too much of a hurry. Flip, flutter. In every scan she's waving around like a deaf interpreter. Lord a talking with her hands little girl. I'm in for a ride. Hoping she doesn't want to be awake when I'm trying to sleep.

Fingers crossed I might have secured a locum for 2 days a week for 2 months. What a treat that would be. Just hoping it can all actually happen.

So the news wasn't great for the three eggs they were going to monitor over the weekend as none made it to the freezer. I am now terribly concerned about the two that were transferred on day three as all the eggs but one (which was slower but within parameters) were supposed to be progressing well and of good quality.

we dropped another sample from DH to be frozen and stored so if we decide to try again it won't require both of us to travel.

feeling a little bit down this morning but am having a hot chocolate to try and cheer up

Oh @EmmaJane75 so sorry to read this - but don't lose all hope - as we said last night some of the worst cycles women have gone through on this thread have ended in BFP's . You just never know, but I understand why you would be feeling disheartened.
Thinking of you and sending you sticky vibes.
    Em x

There's always hope. Difficult but 2 transferred into the perfect environment.

Worry about what is next if and when you need to. Right now focus on enjoying each moment.

Sorry to hear that EmmaJane. I'm sending positive vibes your way for the two you have on board. As others have said, there have been plenty of cycles here that didn't go well but still resulted in beautiful bubs.

Emma-Jane: Don't lose hope! We had a slightly disappointing cycle and only had four embryos, and, after two were transferred, we didn't have any to freeze. But I'm now 31 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. Having said that, I was convinced it hadn't worked and spent most of the 2WW planning my next trip so know how hard it is not to get despondent. But try to keep positive, you're still in with a good chance!

Thanks for all your words of support ladies. Your stories of disappointing results yielding successful pregnancies have made me feel a lot better. On the bright side, if it doesn't work this time I have an exciting career opportunity in Feb to look forward to and I will definitely go back to SA for another try after that. Plus, what a fabulous holiday we have had either way!
