I'm leaving my options open for a third and will decide once I'm in the routine of looking after 2! My family will kill me if I ho through with it though!

    Miss Sagi
If all goes well we will have three under 5! (just) am wondering how much a five year old boy can do to help - or about sending him out to work!😃

    Hi Canuck

I'm so sorry for you ..... grieve, but please don't give up! Keep going and you'll get there in the end. I'm not a single mom, but I absolutely would be if I hadn't met my husband late in life. I would be making the same choice that you are.

I'm very glad to see that you have so much support.

Take care and I wish you strength,
    Kay

Canuck - devastated to hear your news.. 😔 as the others have said take the time you need to grieve but it doesn't have to be your only chance. It would also reiterate what Miss Sagi has suggested with Immune testing. I like her, rarely get sick and our BFP was a result of an intensive immune protocol which effectively dulled or 'switched off' my immune responses so that my body did not reject another A grade embie..

Crabby - I understand your trepidation in having twins. There are moments we are elated and then moments of fear.
I too have a family history of twins, (I am a twin!), so am using all that experience and knowledge to surround us with a strong support network in preparation for whatever happens...
For the rest we are just taking it one day at a time. I am also trying to be realistic about our expectations of the things we will need to cope with twins... And finding ways to practically save money where we can..

Canuck: So sorry to hear your news. Unfortunately, I've been there too (miscarriage at 11 weeks before I had my son) so I know how you might be feeling. Take the time to grieve but please don't give up!

    Congrats again Crabby!
Thank you all for your kind words and suggestions.
Now that I've had a good nights rest, I am wondering how many on this forum got pregnant with frozen embryos. The very successful February round seemed to have quite a few.

Is anyone else out there RH negative? I am just wondering about pre-natal care (bleeding in early pregnancy). I don't think (Dr. Google and the ER doctor agree) that no blood crosses between the mother and fetus before 12 weeks unless there is a miscarriage but others experiences would be welcome.

I know I will never know, but I think it was the campylobacter. Two weeks of severe stomach upset (I could barely leave the house), threw me off, I can't imagine what it did to the fetus.

Tittle!!! Wow congratulations!! Hat a gorgeous little bub. So happy for you guys.

Canuck, I'm so sorry to hear that news. Take your time to heal. But don't give up. I went 3 times! The last two trips were frozen embryos.
Some get super lucky first go, others take a bit more time. No one knows which ones will work. I look at it like a bit of a lottery. If you have plenty of embies left which it sounds like you do, I would definitely go back down the track when you feel ready.

Thinking of you. Glad you have plenty of support around you for some well deserved hugs.

    Take care.
