Crinone ?? Ugh I'll avoid that any way possible. A needle is preferable !!

How many gestone boxes do you reckon it's best to buy in SA?

I was told they will only let you buy enough to last until 10 weeks - some ladies had a bit of a battle even getting this much. Make sure you ask the doctor for extra rather than the nurse or receptionist...

Awww Luca she's gorgeous!! Huge congratulations!! Xx

i purchased all my drugs to last until 12 weeks in SA and had no probs at all. The tablets (can't remember name) were $10 ish a box, and the crinone (needed 3boxes) were $60 per box as opposed to $180 a box here.

With me, as I had been over to SA 3 times, I had left over Gestone, from the first two times that were BFN, so I didn't have to ask for extra but had enough to last me the 12 weeks! which was lucky, as the progesterone pessaries that my FS recommends i found out is sooooo expensive!! Gestone is definitely the way to go.

Jacks, your little girl is adorable! Sorry your latest trip wasn't successful, but you have a great outlook, as you say, you have your gorgeous girl to cherish.

    Hi Leyshoja,

We went through this last week. We saw our FS and he recommended chromosome testing (karoyping) as well. I don't know if you are using CFC but the quote I got was ZAR 700 for AMH and ZAR 2200 for chromosome testing.

Thanks sunny, yes I am going through CFC and that's the prices I was given. They've said that if she has any issues in the chromosome test that she cannot be used, yet she has healthy children so I'm wondering what the chromosome test could tell me ?
