    Default Another PPL Question...

    Hello Ladies

Im just trying to fill in the online application for PPL. My due date is 24 June 2015. I would like my PPL to come into effect as soon as the baby is born as I will be heading back to work (14 hours from home) 12 weeks later so want to get as much PPL as I can before I'm no longer eligible.

My question is what happens if the baby comes early? Should I put my start date for PPL as her due date or a couple of weeks early just in case?

    TIA

From what I know, if Bub is early you just submit another form within 2 weeks of the birth to amend the original one.

    I'd put the EDD.

Put the EDD. Then you just need to show them the proof of birth- whether early, late bub- and can get paid from there. They'll back date it too for you if you let them know after the birth you want it frm the date of birth (mine was 4 weeks early so did it recently!)
