Default Need a good cry I think

It's not been a great week, storm damage, sick child, money issues,

We have reached the limit on our CCR rebate for daycare! Each day now costs the full $95 to attend, four days a week, until June 31st.

    And

I just got an ambulance bill for $350 but I now realise my daughter is not covered under my policy.. I'm such an idiot!

    AND
I just dropped my iPhone, again! and it cracked. Again! Screen is dead also. $80

I'm sitting in a coffee shop waiting for the phone to be fixed, with tears rolling down my face hoping no one can notice. I'm watching all these lucky parents walking around, holding their little ones hand, sitting in coffee shops, being parents.

I work full time, and feel like such a crap person today. Tell me to stop feeling sorry for myself!

    :-(

I think it's perfectly fine to have moments of self-pity......then you pick yourself up and get on with it.

It sounds like you are having a sucky time of it at the moment (why do these thing ALWAYS happen at once!!! ) I really hope everything comes together.

On the Childcare cost issue, it frustrates me no end how difficult it is to be a working parent. Hoping the rumors are true and the Government will offer some real solutions in this budget.

    Hugs Hun.
It's so hard to find the best way to go on.
I'm not going to tell you to suck it up though because I am were you are every day.
Daycare is a necessary evil. They charge threw the roof and you get minimal help with the cost. But your expected to work to.
I have to take time off to go to appointment after appointment while also keeping my business afloat. The rest of the time daycare are there for him when I should be.
But as pp said you pick yourself up. We have to as parents.
Doesn't make it hurt any less though.

I think there are many people here this week having a good cry in a coffee shop - so you probably shouldn't stand out! If you're tired then that is going to make the whole situation that little bit worse and really hard to stop the flow of tears.

Work through each issue on its own. There might be a payment plan for the ambulance - give them a call and see if you can pay it off over time. Then check out a policy for phi for your daughter if you think that it would be beneficial in the future.
