Default Heart Rate.. Boy or Girl?

Is there any truth to the old wives tales that you can guess gender based on the heart rate ? We aren't finding out the gender but enjoy having fun guessing. Did the heart rate theory work for you?

It did for DD (her heart rate was 160bpm at 7w5d) but I don't really have any other basis for comparison yet

DD1 was 120-122 and never higher.
DD2 (still being cooked) is 160-165.

Did for me with both DD and DS.
Food cravings also pointed to the right sex.
I wouldn't go and decorate a nursery based on it, but good for a little fun.
