Thanks @kiki1. I don't think ur out yet. Hcg levels are variable, I think between 5-50 at 7dp5dt so if ur on the lower end of the scale the test won't pick it up for another day or so. I think FRER reads positive at 10 and standard FR at 25. Did u use ur first morning pee?

Omg @NizzleRizzle you made me laugh so hard about the de sexed cat that got pregnant! 😂👍🏻. The vet obviously didn't do a good job ha ha ha. Fingers crossed for your tests, hopefully you'll get the go ahead. You don't want to be in sync with me anymore!

@BecT thanks for the hugs. I needed one too. As did so many others.

@kiki1 I don't think your are out yet. I think by day 10dp 5dt you should definitely get something. It's so hard, especially once you consult dr Google and see all these people getting positives at 4dpo! Hang in there. You are close to getting out of the horrendous 2ww. Crossing everything for you though.

@Hopeful37 good luck with your BT today. Fingers crossed it's good news. But have also read plenty of times people bleeding early on and it being a successful pregnancy.

@sarah1982 good luck today and don't worry about taking the day off. Family always comes first! Even in the planning stages.

@ Mink I am so very sorry. You must be shattered. This process is so hard. The only positive you can take from this is that after surgery your body will be the best it can be and you are giving those follicles the best chance and access too and you might also get a lot more little snow babies. Whilst the wait is so frustrating it might work out better? Big hugs in the meantime. We are here for you, and will get each other through this!

@dancingbutterfly hope you are also feeling better today. Does the hrt make you all hormonal? I'm considering a hrt fet next...

@maxinem2112 yay! Congrats on being Pupo!

@NizzleRizzle the de sexed cat getting pregnant made me laugh too! Hahaha

I just spoke to my FS and confirmed that we may never get access to my ovaries even after more surgery. Sigh. Fighting back tears again since I'm now at work.

Btw, now that I'm about to properly ovulate whatever eggs I have, does anyone know or has anyone tried unprotected sex to try their luck at a natural pregnancy again? Or is it too dangerous eg ectopic etc? I forgot to ask the FS.

Also, to anyone who's been through a cancelled cycle, how were your periods? Mine are already super heavy so I'm really worried. FS said it could go either way...

Thanks so much @Keiko2012 Yes these 2ww's are the most horrendous part! I'd take injections & retrievals every day over this. How are you going?
I'm going to have to read back through to find this desexed cat story ha!
@Mink I'm so sorry this must be so heartbreaking. Hopefully surgery resolves FS concerns & also make a nice, clean, comfy home for bub to stick. I don't know about the ectopic risk but def give the clinic a call. @sarah1982 Goodluck for a nicely thawed sticky bub!
    Another BFN this morning.

@keiko yes I do want to sync with u! my ovaries are waiting for ur lining to catch up lol
@Mink I think u should get a second opinion. That's a pretty big statement for ur fs to make re not ever being able to access ur ovaries. Does ur fs specialise in endo? Maybe find one that does. Can he not aspirate the cysts to shrink them and get to the follicles? Some things that have helped me: Have u tried the endo diet? It worked wonders for me. Not one bit of pain during my periods and although cysts still there hardly any adhesions! It's tough (basically vegan) but well worth the results. Try maca root, vitex, bee propis, serrapeptase, nattokinase supplements as well. Fasting? It's thought to be a disease of excess so fasting/eating less is supposed to help. I don't think it would hurt to try getting pg naturally. I guess there would be a risk of multiples but not sure what the risk of ectopic is...

Maybe I am still in sync... I've been given the go ahead 😳. Follicle 21mm and lining 7.6. it's never been this thin. Totally freaking out that this isn't big enough! But just got to remember he's happy with it. It's our last embryo.... Ah. I can't believe it. Triggered already and ET sometime on Monday!

Sorry to thread crash, but I saw your posts @Mink and my heart broke for you. I have been in a similar position, and just thought I’d share in case it offers you some hope. 2 years ago, I had major surgery for stage 4 endo (4 hour operation, removal of large endometrioma, destruction of one ovary, bowel/bladder involvement blah blah blah).

12 months later we went for our first ivf stim cycle and discovered that I had another big endometrioma and the endo was back. I also didn’t respond to the stims well at all, with low follie and egg numbers. We decided not to cancel the cycle, but the embryo quality was bad and it resulted in a chem. We still wanted to avoid further surgery at that point and did another stim cycle, but doubled the dose of gonal f. Again, I responded poorly and we ended up with low numbers and it resulted in a bfn. At that point we decided to operate again, and it was confirmed that my endo had grown back quite aggressively.

After the surgery, I took synarel for 2.5 months to try and suppress the endo before doing another stim cycle. Well, with the endometrioma gone and the endo ‘sleeping’ I responded MUCH better, and we got 15 eggs! Sadly it resulted in an ectopic, but overall my FS’s opinion was that the endometrioma had been interfering with my ovary’s response to the meds. He also had a big look around during my surgery for the ectopic, and found no evidence that the endo had started growing back yet which is great news. So all in all, I think doing the second surgery and then suppressing the endo was the best thing I could have done in terms of maximising my future chances.

Also, with regards to risk of ectopic, my FS said that unfortunately with bad endo the risk is there whether you conceive naturally or via ivf (as was the case with me) – so I would say go for it this month and hope for the best!

I also agree with @NizzleRizzle regarding a second opinion. An endo expert in this type of situation is worth their weight in gold.

Good luck, and hang in there. I don't know if any of that was helpful, but I thought I'd put it out there in case
