@Lisa Maria I dont think there is a 'perfect' number for eggs. Some research says that too many eggs can be reduced quality. Some say too few can cause issues. I think the focus should be on getting the best quality eggs for you, and that might be in a haul of 6! X

Keiko, I bought a bottle of castor oil from my local organic shop. I just used a cotton hand towel and soaked it in that with a wheat heat pack. I'll be starting it again myself this cycle. I don't know if it works but it's relaxing

Posted in the other thread (first timer IVF), but I'm a little bit late in that most are no longer first timer's and the thread has gone quiet.

Will be following both (this and the other) threads with interest... I do have a few questions though, hope that's OK!

I am seeing my GP this Thursday to get the referral I need for my clinic (they’ve sent a list of tests required). We were seeing a FS up the Sunshine Coast but since moved to Brisbane and the referrals only last 12 months.

What tests on top of the above should I be requesting from my GP to get results of myself? I know the clinic will order some also but just hoping to be as proactive as I can!

    Semen analysis
    AMH (cost involved?)
    HSG test referral
NK cells (bloods then will consider biopsy when I see the clinic)
    MTHFR

Is melatonin provided as a script only or is it available from the chemist?

Currently I’m on 300mg CoQ10, fish oil, folic acid and baby aspirin throughout TWW – DH is on CoQ10 and zinc.

When is prednisolone given (if I test positive to NK cells)? Throughout the TWW solely, or the entire cycle?

If there's one thing I know after so many years of research, trying, and other, is it only takes one. That probably does little for your disappointment, I know, but through all of the FB pages, forums, threads, messages, etc - there is absolutely nothing to say they won't be three GREAT ones

I had a biopsy to test for nk cells. I had to take doxycylone on day 2 of cycle. Test came back negative do I had to stop taking it.
Prednisolone would have been started cd5 if I tested positive.
U should get ur thyroid tested too.
But each clinic is different. Just have a chat with em.

My AMH test was 85.00 done at the clinic.
And girls correct me if im wrong. But baby asprin shouldnt be used in the tww. Shouldnt it be stopped at ET. I had to stop taking vitimin E (blood thinner) at ET. Cause can do more harm than good.
