    Hi @MrsSabo2016,
I have bad PCOS so I dont ovulate on my own. so I did three rounds of clomid and got it upped to 100mg but this was unsessecful, so i was put on the FSH injections I have just finished my second cycle of FSH injections but my 15month of trying. So we will give it at least one more go and not sure from there.
So far mine have not worked but this is just me, I am slowly getting more follicles and hopefully good ones but for some reason they are just not taking... I think it definatley worth you trying them and they a really dont hurt very much when you do them at home..

    Not feeling to great today.

AF is due Friday. Becuase I couldn't wait I did a HPT test today - absolutely nothing. Zilch. Not even a faint second line.

I'm pretty sure this cycles going to be another failure. Its our last clomid cycle too. I really, really hoped this would have been our cycle and on our final clomid attempt we would have got lucky. My FS said he wanted to try something different. I have no idea whats in store and my anxiety about it is starting to grow.

To top it off i'm on the prostergeon supplements so I get the all the joys of experiencing nausea, sore boobs, tiredness and problem skin without being pregnant.

Its taking everything I have not to burst into tears at my desk.

So sorry to hear you're feeling like this. I totally understand. We are on round 3 of clomid (just started) and I'm already scared it won't work before we've even done 5 cycles.
Did you successfully ovulate on clomid?? Why are you on progesterone?
There's still a chance you tested too early, you never know! Hang in there! It will happen!
I went for a scan wth the new specialist the other day he discovered I had over 35 cysts on each ovary!! I was hoping it would be less after ovulating on clomid!

If anyone has tips out there for getting pregnant on clomid I'm all ears. (Eg. Diet, yoga, vitamins, foods, timing, ways to reduce stress???)

Mellie29 you may keep ovulating after clomid and it could be as a simple as clearing your tubes!! Luck to you fingers crossed xx

    Thanks @Hopeful babycrazy & @Mamasupial

Ovulation on clomid does not seem to be a problem. Each of the three day 21 blood tests has shown I ovulated.

My FS does progesterone supplements as a matter of course if the progesterone levels at day 21 are less than 45. Mine were 43, so just lower, but he wanted to be on the safe side.

I've only got one tube left, and my FS did a test just before we started on clomid to make sure it was nice and clear - did not want a repeat ectopic.

I think its just been really, really bad luck.

I'm really hoping it was just an early test, but its hard to keep a positive attitude after each cycle. I'll keep you ladies updated.

Hi Mellie29 I know how your feeling. I have just done our 2nd round of Fsh injections plus trigger I am now starting our third. Each month you get the crushing weight of failure? I feel the same way. My cycle only went 26 days this time which us shorter then the previous 28 and 29.. so no idea what happened. Other people just dont understand. I had a massive break down to my sister because my mum was upsetting me!
It ok to cry sometimes you just need that.
I'm not going to tell it will be alright because thats the last thing you want to hear. So be strong lean on hubby. Xo good luck I'm right there with you.

Hi, sorry to interrupt! Just wondering if I can ask, did you have to go on Metforming before Clomid? I have PCOS And am overweight and my FS told me she will prescribe me metformin first. I'm a bit worried about that because of the side effects. I think I would rather go straight on Clomid but I'm not sure if I can request that. Thank you.

Hi I'm a lean pcoser, most dr couldn't believe I had it. And yes I was put on metformin along side my clomid and injections. I just found thd best thing to do was to start it slowly take one once a day then work up from there never had a problem. Im now 8 weeks with my first good luck.

If I had my time again and when we do TTC our second I'm going to try metaformin first on it own and then if that's not working then try clomid. I might even go back on metaformin after bubs arrives just to keep my PCOS symptoms under control... the side affects aren't long term I felt normal after about a week

I'm nearly 24 weeks and conceived first time using clomid and metaformin but it would be interesting to see how metaformin works for me on its own..
