My mc only took a week from bleeding beginning to passing the main part of the miscarriage, but i had the exact same feeling of wanting it to be done so I could just move on emotionally and physically. I personally didnt want to intervene in the natural process, just because I had feelings of 'what if?' What if my dr was wrong and the baby was ok and I made it miscarry. It was a silly way to think, because the hcg and scan showed what was happening - but i just couldnt do it. So i think it is a very personal choice. Im sorry for your loss - i hope it will be over for you soon. I think the waiting is definitely the most difficult part. Take care of yourself hun

I think it's only natural to have that 'what if?'. Even though I'd had terrible HCG results and 2 scans showing no growth and no fetal pole, I still had the 'what if?'. But when I started spotting and had the 3rd scan it definitely confirmed it for me.

I have had a mmc before having DS, and it ended in a D&C because my body just would not let it go. Because of the risks I want to avoid another D&C... But given my body's totally uncooperative attitude I'm scared it won't do it on its own!

Kind of hating my body at the moment
