Mamabakes has loads of great big batch recipes. My favs for the freezer are pasties (just grab from freezer and Chuck on tray to cook), Mexican mince (for tacos, nachos etc), pulled pork and quiche/zucchini slice.

    They look great.

May I suggest you add the date to your labels.

Looks great Harvs well done! But definitely do dates too because some stuff won't taste so good after being in freezer for too long.

    Done for today!

One batch of creamy beef and chickpea curry. Tastes aMAZing.

Roast butternut, sweet potato and coconut soup. It's not as nice as I'd hoped but I figure I can cook it up with rice and add some chili, ginger and lemon juice to balance out the flavours.

Barley, kidney bean and veggie soup.

I'm hanging to make some fresh bread now but perhaps I should give it a rest for a while!

Thanks for the advice to add dates. I've diarised everything so should be able to keep track of it all :-)

    Today was a slow day.

Two batches of vegetarian pasta bake (one with macaroni, one with gnocchi), and two batches of gnocchi bolognese.

    ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1429608226.954323.jpg

I'm up to 85 meals and I am almost out of freezer space. If I can get it up to 100 that covers lunch and dinner for every day of term. That'll be pretty cool.

I didn't feel like cooking tea tonight so I just pulled a loaf of bread out of the oven. Fresh bread and peanut butter for tea tonight 👍

Fantastic effort! You can get closer to the 15 extra though as long as you use your fridge for a couple days with of lunches and dinners. Just put some fresh lunches and dinners in the fridge to get you through a couple days then pull some frozen stuff out and let it defrost slowly and have later on in the week and replace that space with new food. That should get you there.

Eta: it makes total sense in my head but comes across confusing
