Default 18 month old suddenly not sleeping.

Hi all, i really need some help or at least some reassurance. Our little girl was a nightmare with sleep when she was younger. Well once she was asleep she was fine, it was getting her to sleep that was the issue. She would scream and cry no matter what you did. Even when holding her. So we tried alot of techniques but nothing really worked appart from cc. So when she was about 9 month she was an angel i would put her down happy as larry and she would drift off by herself. But since about 17 months she has gone back to that screaming and crying, but now its 10 times worse. She hasnt had a nap in over a week because sue just refuses. Tried gentle approach first but nothing I have tried going back to cc but its not working anymore ( not teething either). Sorry about the essay but thought i would give you a background. Has anyone experienced this???

I've heard there can be a sleep regression at that age but don't know much about it.

Are you just talking about day naps? My 15 month old looks to be dropping his day naps completely. Some days he will have one for 1-2 hrs, other days he is happy to skip it. I find on days he naps its harder to get him to sleep at bedtime and he usually goes down later. Could she be ready to drop her nap?

Well shes the same, if she naps then she is terrible atvnight sleep. But if she doesnt then she just passes out at night. But i know shes tired and needs a nap because she drops off in the car (which she has never done) and she rubs her eyes and get super cranky.
