    Well...

    I stuffed up...

We were up for over an hour in the night (looooooong story) and I don't even remember my alarm going off this morning but it's 8.30 here now and we have just woken up.

I feel awful, like the whole week has been wasted :-(

    What do I do today?

Default My toddler and his sleeping

Put bub down a little later (eg 1 instead of 12:30) but get up at the same time - ie a shorter nap. Then same bedtime tonight. Give it a few days and you will be back on track.

I think a deviation once in a while isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Well, they just rested him at cc and got him up at the usual time as I asked. He is still awake now but very tired. The problem is when he's this tired it's difficult to get him to eat so he may wake hungry in a while.

I'm crossing my fingers he sleeps through because he hasn't for a couple of nights, which is really very unusual!

And...now he's sleeping! Out like a candle that doesn't want to be blown out, so the flame wriggles around a lot before being finally vanquished.

Well...someone woke up at 6.15 this morning and only went to sleep at 8 tonight.

Two nap free days in a row. Is this the beginning of the end?

Possibly!! In the transition to no nap, there will be days he will still nap and others that he won't.

DD doesn't nap anymore but I still put her in her cot and she relaxes for 1-1.5 hours. Can you still put him down and he will chill out or is it all and nothing with him?

@A-Squared he is quite happy to sit and rest or play quietly in his cot and it seems to recharge him... So I'll just go with it I guess for now.
@GreenMama I'm not sure why you erased your post? But thanks for the update - I'm thinking my son may be travelling exactly the same way. I can cope with that :-)

My victory for the weekend was getting FOB on board, so we will see how he goes for the next few days 👍

Don't mind me @harvs, I'm just an Emo McGee. Hope it goes well with FOB!
