    Weeeeeell...

We got up at 6.30 and DS was asleep by 12.45. I woke him up at 1.30. He was not impressed.

So - he missed today's memo, unless he just got the day wrong :-) fingers crossed we all do ok tonight. I'm exhausted!!

He was asleep at 7.45 on. the. dot. He was asking to lie down with me for a while and I kept saying 'in just a minute' and then he just fell asleep. I wasn't holding his hand or anything!

And this is where the guilt starts cos I could've just given him one last cuddle. It wouldn't have hurt. Ah I hate my brain!

Well done! You can give your DS the biggest cuddle ever in the morning. Hope tonight goes ok!

Ok I'm here to nag for advice again...

DS has a temp so I assume he's coming down with something. I've been consistent with his waking time since Saturday (is that all? It feels like foreeeeever!). Would you all play it by ear tomorrow if he has a bad night/is unwell? Or stick with it?

Depends how bad his night is. If it's many wake ups but he goes back to sleep with a few quick cuddles if stick with it but if he ends up only having less than say 7 or 8 hours sleep I'd let him wake naturally.

I'd see how bad his and your night was and if he missed out on a big chunk of sleep - two to three hours or more - I'd leave him to sleep in a bit longer but an hour maximum and depending on how he is during the day, I might extend his day nap time a bit.
I hope the poor poppet and his lovely mum have an ok night xxx
