Default Are my HCG levels ok?

Hi, I was hoping to find some answers and opinions here reguarding my HCg levels
    I got a BFP at 9dp3dt
    My first HCG was at
    14dpo - 90
    17dpo - 300 progesterone 56
    20po - 500

I am thinking this is not a very good result. I am 5 weeks today.

My Gp told me to stop worrying and wait for the scan.

That seems about right as it is doubling atleast every 48hrs. Is your doctor concerned?

    Hi, thanks for replying.
my gp was not worried. He told me to just wait for the scan as there is nothing I can do anyway.
I've been in touch with the nurses at my clinic this morning and they say I am just borderline but she did not sound overly confident. She hs sent me to have another test tomorrow.

    Default HCG levels

What do you mean borderline? Is there a reason for doing repeat HCG tests, like fertility issues or repeat miscarriages? Most doctors won't request HCG for this reason. People stress about their levels and if they are rising enough. The reference ranges for HCG are so broad and the doubling can be anywhere from 48-72 hours. I know it's easier said that done, but don't get repeat HCG levels done, you know your pregnant (as confirmed with your HPT).

Good luck. It's so stressful. My "slow numbers" ended badly but there seemed to be a great deal that ended well. When is your scan? It's such a rubbish time and I hope you have a great surprise shortly.

    Congrats on your pregnancy.

Your levels are fine! . Mine were 258 at 16 DPO, so similar to yours - and that was with twins! I'm now 22 weeks pregnant and they are growing well and are healthy.

There is a huge range for 'normal' hcg, I wouldn't worry at all about your results.

Try not to stress (easier said than done, I know!).

I'm sure it's all ok. My hcg was considered low and they thought I would miscarry but i now have a 6 month old. Congratulations xx

My levels were 11 at 13DPO. I'm now 13 weeks pregnant with an active little bubba ☺️

Don't stress, your levels seem fine! xx

My hcg numbers were slow and low. Doubling every 55ish hours to begin with! That pregnancy resulted in DD.

The pregnancy is an Ivf pregnancy and I have been spotting right from implantation. It's a very strange kind of spotting because I wake up to red streaky blood then just watery red/ pink all day and has continued every day until now where I am 5 wk 2days. This is the reason for continued testing.

another blood test has confirmed for me things are starting to go pear shaped now. With a rise from 500 at 20dpo to just 637 at 22dpo in 48 hours. They have requested another blood test on Monday but I think that's just to decide if I require a scan the following day. I will be 6 weeks on scan day.and they are looking for a possible ectopic now. Pretty much thinking there will be no baby this time round
