So what can I expect from this procedure?! I have had a laparoscopy before is recovery the same? When can we ttc after the d&c I was hoping like 2 weeks later but what im reading when it was a miscarriage that wont be possible?? Any info appreciated thanks

I've had a d&c after my baby about 3-4 weeks for retained placenta.

I've also had 2 d&c's for miscarriages as well..

You might have a little bit of cramping like period pain, a little bit of bleeding which goes away quickly. Other than that no real adverse side affects for me.

I conceived 2 months after a d&c, some drs say to wait 1 cycle or so some drs dont.

I had one in September due to heavy, painful periods, I also had a Letz procedure and a mirena placed. It was fine. I had very light bleeding for about 10 days, no pain or anything. It was way less scary than I thought it was going to be.

Thanks ladies that puts my mind at ease a bit more. I keep picturing me not being able to move property for days and with a toddler who loves to jump all over me that will be hard. Hopefully I recover quickly like u all did
