    1. I was 22 and dp 23 when I had our daughter.

    2. She was a surprise baby but we started trying for number 2 in 2012 and we have had no luck. We are now 27 and 28.

    Dd we were 34&39
    DS we were 36&almost41.
No regrets here being slightly older parents.
(We did start trying at 29/34, so it took us 5yrs!)

    1. I was 30, DH 31.
    2. We started ttc when I was 25 and he was 26.

For what it's worth I don't think you've left it too late. :-)

First baby I was 30 and DH 31. We started TTC when I was 28 and DH 29. It took us about a year to conceive DD, had a miscarriage along the way and were told it was extremely unlikely (but not impossible, obviously!) that we'd get pregnant on our own. For our second baby I was 33 when DS was born, DH 34. We only tried for 6 months on our own then did 3 rounds of IVF, so again about a year of TTC.

If I decide to have one more, I would probably be around 36/37 when that baby came along. I probably wouldn't want to do it any later than that, pregnancy and the newborn phase might be a fair bit tougher.
