AF returned 4 weeks to the day after I had a D&C for a missed miscarriage. The D&C was done right on 12 weeks (bubs was only 8 weeks) so not sure if this helped that it was on my cycle anyway, if that makes sense.

I'm sorry for your loss. I had a d&c at 8 weeks. AF arrived on about day 33, which is my normal cycle. I had only stopped bleeding for about a week at that point. Also, I don't think the HCG has to drop to 0. I know many people who got pregnant without AF even arriving after a d&c. Good luck!

My Drs told me it doesn't "have to" drop to zero to fall pregnant, but they strongly recommend that it does as its the only way they can truly rule out a molar pregnancy. I for one know that I was ovulating with hcg still in my system so its definately possible!

I'm currently ovulating with retained products on board so I can guarantee it too! Molar pregnancies are extremely rare.

AF returned 18 days after D&C which was unexpected. My hcg was only around 1000 though if maybe that's why so soon? (blighted ovum). Anyone else find the cramping with first af abnormally painful?
